UchuSentai Noiz, a rock band from Japan, surprised its Filipino fans when the group released a cover of the hit song "Liwanag sa Dilim" by Rivermaya.
UchuSentai Noiz, who is known for their cosplay-like outfits, shot the music video in the disaster-stricken Tacloban. In the video clip, the energetic members of the band showcased their unique rendition of the OPM hit song. The group came up with a very stylish combination of music elements from various genres such as pop rock, metal, and electronic notes. Here's the music video.

Angel Taka, the lead vocalist of UchuSentai Noiz, emotionally showed how he is closely tied up with the Filipino culture. In January, he personally went to Tacloban to give the donation raised by a volunteer organization in Japan to help the rehabilitation of the province. During his trip, Angel Taka spent time with public school children and encouraged them to stay happy. UCHUSENTAI:NOIZ also made charitable efforts in Davao by sponsoring scholarship programs to the Filipino youth.

This is not the first time that the Japanese rock band made a cover of an OPM. About two years ago, their cover of the hit rock anthem Narda by Kamikazee immediately went viral when they uploaded a copy of their video on Youtube.
The band is currently in the country and will perform at the Metrotent Convention Center, Metrowalk Plaza, Ortigas, Pasig city on May 1, 2014. The group will visit Davao City on May 4, 2014 for their concert at the SMX Convention Center, 3rd Floor, SM Lanang premier, J.P. Laurel Avenue, Lanang, Davao City.
