When I was a child, I was fond of watching horror movies and scary documentaries revealing the deepest and darkest secrets that we are not aware of. Also, there was a time when I got too attached in extracting the "true lyrics"of a song by playing it backwards. That popular bustle was known as Backmasking. It became an instant hit for those who wanted to spook themselves out.
Theorists revealed that a lot of songs are full of satanic depictions and diabolical messages such as Led Zeppelin's "Stairway to Heaven, which featured the following backmasked messages:
"Serve the beast for money", "I love Satan", "It's fun to smoke marijuana", "I am Satan", "Satan knows I love Him" ,"Glory, glory to my sweet Satan, there was a little child born, it makes me sad, whose power is Satan".
It was believed that Satan was using musicians as evil wager and manipulates them to make certain songs with hidden murky messages when played backwards. Some even said that it is a form of sacrificial offer to Satan for the movie to become a hit.
Either way, things can get a lot creepier if you will actually be the one to try and backmask some songs. I will give you backmasking applications and its download links for you to get started a lot faster. If you will come across a newly discovered song with more evil backmasked messages, feel free to share your experience, include the backmasked new lyrics as well as the actual recording so that we will be able to collaborate another interesting backmasking topics.

Meanwhile, It’s showtime, a popular noontime TV show in the Philippines, did an outstanding and entertaining job of performing the actual backmasked lyrics. Guess what, the supposedly irrelevant song number was actually a backmasked version of the noontime show’s theme song. It was fun and amusing. This clearly shows that backmasking isn't just about satanic rituals or whatsoever. If you will try to look into the brighter side of it, you can be creative enough to make some entertaining piece of art!
